we kept Mr. Toby for Mere while she went to D.C. to accept the blue ribbon award for STM

Jamison was in heaven to have a puppy around the house. 

We tried our first sour skittle... :) 

Wore our letterman jacket for the first chilly days of winter!

There are a couple of really cute phrases Jamison has been using lately

that I want to remember...

Me: Jamison would you like to watercolor/read a book/ watch LeapFrog?

Jamison:  YES! I did!

 

Jamison:  Toby where your ball are?

(trying to locate Tobias' runaway ball)

 

Jamison:  I not.

(instead of "No")

 

He's also a fan of saying "CHEERS!" whenever he notices you have

something he currently has

i.e. my necklace, his amber necklace..."CHEERS!"

he hands me a leaf, he picks up his own leaf and...."CHEERS!"

two dinosaur toys standing together..."CHEERS!"

 

Whenever we're finished reading, he closes the book and says, "Amen!"

 

I guess he just likes to be where everyone knows his name...jk, jk

 

on Sunday, Charlie and I were sure we heard J-bird say,

"I'm a good guy" as he was getting in his carseat.

 

Jamison has taken to calling himself J-bird :)

Luke's First Sleep Over!

The two youngest cousins had a blast the last two days!

we pooled it up

ate some "hot 'n ready" pizzas

and watched movies!

These smiles say it all

After nap time we took a quick walk to get the mail

and got to run home in the rain! 

Once we were dried off it was time for J's first baking lesson.

 we started the day off right with some play time at the park

the swing is usually his first stop!

we chased after each other for a while

during which Jamison kept saying,

"Mama! FUN!"

then we headed to the library for story time.

we read all about mice and brought home a coloring sheet to work on.

next we met up with Aunt Kelley & CO. for some yummy Chick-fil-a for lunch.

Following by some more play time at the twardowski home.

Needless to say, the J-bird was all tuckered out!

We didn't even make it home before he fell asleep.

Love spending my day with this handsome fella!

Play Date!

We love our new neighborhood and our neighbors are

the sweetest people!

Jamison enjoys playing with, Ayanna.  A little girl who is just a few

months older than he is.

They have such similar personality types and love to play together!

J-bird is a fan of their playyard :)

after a morning full of fun we headed home for some lunch.

Today we read Harry the Dirty Dog.

It's quickly becoming a daily favorite of ours!

Nothing like Mac n' Cheese, grapes and rice to fill up a little tummy

A little later I walked into the living room and caught Jamison re-reading

David and Goliath.

His favorite pages are the ones with swords!

"NO. Foppy!" = "NO. Stop It!"

"I fell" = "I fell" but spoken with a west Texas drawl

"tatu" = "Thank You"

 



First MFA Visit

we had such a blast visiting the museum today!

keeping our hands to ourselves was tricky....

picture me running behind Jamison chanting,

"Use walking feet"

"Look with your eyes not your hands"

etc.

It may have been a little early for this type of museum but I am so glad we got to see this... 

The Soto exhibit was UNREAL!!

J-bird was in another world dashing through this awesome piece of art. 

I love seeing the way his eyes light up! 

And best of all our wonderful friends, the Smiths, got to join us :)
